We can't leak what we never receive.
Snapastr is built privacy-first. Here is exactly what happens to your data.
- 01
Your text stays local
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. The text you paste is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server.
- 02
History & snippets live on your device
Optional history, saved snippets and favourites are kept in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). Clearing your browser data removes them, and you can clear them any time.
- 03
Share links keep text in the URL
When you copy a share link, the input is encoded into the link's “#” fragment — which browsers never send to a server.
- 04
The only data we receive
…is what you voluntarily submit through the business licensing form (your name, company and email), used solely to respond to your request.
